What are the features of an email?

The word email is short form for the word electronic mail. The main features of an email include an address book, attachment section and MIME support. Firstly, an address book is responsible for all storage of information concerning people whom regularly communicate via email. The attachment is the ability of the attaching of a file in addition to a message written. MIME support stands for Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions which allows the compliant mailer to send file other than simple text such as audios and videos. A benefit is that emails are relatively simple to use. Other advantages of this is that they increase efficiency and productivity in relation to business use. It is also cheap as the email costs remains the same regardless of the distance or number of people sent the email and fast such that it takes a short period of time to reach the recipient.
