Cottier & Sidaway has recently delivered a project which
has received glowing reports from new client Salford Primary
Care Trust (PCT).
The project was to produce a 32 page annual report for the
PCT. Nothing odd in that you may think, but the whole project
was undertaken without ever having met the client face-to-face.
Experienced in the healthcare sector, Cottier & Sidaway
was already conversant with the existing National Health
Service style guide and with a clear brief and excellent
reference material from Salford PCT we were able to create
the clinical governance annual report on time and within
budget with minimal contact with the client.
Sue First from Salford PCT commented: “It was the
best service we’ve ever had, all by phone or email,
there was no need for long drawn out meetings, not that it
wouldn’t have been nice to meet the team. The whole
process was painless.”
“We normally meet new clients to get to know each
other, but on this occasion, an existing client had recommended
us to Salford PCT and we were able to use phone calls and
emails which reduced costs and time thus simplifying the
whole project,” says Phil Cottier, lead designer.
Jayne Lillywhite created the text for the project which
uses quotes from patients throughout the document to illustrate
the Trust’s successes. The design of the full
colour report includes strong images of staff and people
from the community they serve.
