Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT) which works with
businesses, local authorities and other groups to promote
environmental sustainability in the City has asked Cottier & Sidaway
to design its annual report. The brief was to design a colourful
and vibrant document which reflects the aims of the charity
in the most economical way. The solution was the creative
use of photography showing people at work and play in the
City to illustrate those who are directly benefiting from
the Trust’s work. Cottier & Sidaway’s associate
copy writer, Jayne Lillywhite created the lively text for
the project as part of the agency’s integrated service.
Tim Sidaway said: “This commission demonstrates our
commitment to working with the public and not-for-profit
sectors. From concept stage to delivery of the end product,
we have been able to use our years of experience and knowledge
in the conservation and environmental arenas to create words
and design that really work.”

Cottier & Sidaway is also working on a high profile
project for Peterborough City Council who have commissioned
a major project to design the branding to promote the City’s
'Sustainable Travel Demonstration Town' status. More about
this project soon…
